2. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
3. Eligibility Criteria: Entry is free (excluding internet access costs) and open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
4. Ineligible Participants: Employees, contractors, and their immediate families of Music Victoria and its affiliated entities are not eligible to enter.
5. Residency Requirement: This promotion is open exclusively to residents of Australia.
6. Promotion Period: Entries will be accepted from 10:00 AM AEST on Monday, 2 September 2024, until 11:59 AM AEST on Tuesday, 1 October 2024.
7. How to Enter: Participants can enter by voting for an artist in any of the following categories for the 2024 Music Victoria Awards:
- Best Group
- Best Solo Artist
- Best DJ
- Best Song or Track
- Best Album
- Best Regional Act
8. Multiple Entries: Participants may vote in multiple categories, with each vote counting as a separate entry. All valid entries will be considered.
9. Game of Chance: Winners will be selected at random; this promotion is purely a game of chance.
10. Draw Details: The random draw will take place at 10:00 AM AEST on Monday, 7 October 2024, at Collingwood Yards, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood. Please note that the draw will not be open to the public.
11. Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via email by 5:00 PM AEST on the day of the draw. Winners must respond within three (3) business days to claim their prize; otherwise, they forfeit the prize. Winner will be announced publicly by 5:00pm AEST on Friday, 11 October 2024
12. Second Chance Draw: If the initial winner cannot be contacted, a second draw will occur at 9:00 AM AEST on Thursday, 10 October 2024, at the same location. The second-chance winner(s) will be notified by 5:00 PM AEST on the same day via email.
13. Prize Details: The prize consists of:
- 12 cases of Brick Lane Brewing beverages.
- The variety of products included is at Brick Lane’s discretion.
- Prize will be delivered in two shipments:
- First shipment: Sent directly after the prize is presented.
- Second shipment: Sent no less than six months from the first shipment.
- The value of the prize is approximately $700 but may vary based on the final selection of products included
14. Total Prize Value: The total prize pool is valued at AUD $700, inclusive of GST.
15. Delivery: Prize will be delivered to the winner’s provided address within Australia. Address changes: The winner must notify Brick Lane Brewing of any address changes between the first and second shipments
16. Proof of age: The winner must provide valid ID proving they are 18 or older before receiving the prize and may be requested to present this upon delivery of the beverages.
17. Prize Conditions: Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash. The prize must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions unless specified. These terms do not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
18. Disputes and Final Decision: Music Victoria reserves the right to resolve any disputes or unforeseen issues as they see fit, with decisions being final and binding. No further correspondence will be entertained. Music Victoria also reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
19. Entry Validity: Music Victoria is not responsible for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, misdirected, or illegible entries.
20. Liability Exclusion: Music Victoria is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by any entrant or winner, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
21. Technical Issues: Music Victoria is not responsible for any entries lost or corrupted due to internet or telecommunications issues. Automated entries or those deemed to be spamming will be disqualified.
22. Promotion Interruption: Should the promotion be interrupted or tampered with due to unauthorized intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond Music Victoria’s control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion, subject to legal obligations.
23. Intellectual Property: By entering, participants grant Music Victoria a non-exclusive license to use their entry content for any purpose, including modification, without compensation. Entrants waive any moral rights and agree to any future documentation requests to enforce this clause.
